Belarusian Delegation Visits Our University

On the morning of April 16, Alexander Onsovich, President of the Baranovichi State University in Belarus, Vice President Vladimir Vladimirovich, and Wang Yuquan, Director of the Chinese Affairs Office of the International Exchange College of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, along with a group of seven people, visited our university.

Shen Shigang, member of the university's Party Committee and Vice President, met with the delegation. Shen Shigang welcomed the Belarusian delegation's visit and introduced the hundred-year history and recent development of our university. He hoped that through this meeting, Hebei University and the two universities could enhance mutual understanding and communication, gradually promote cooperation in areas such as short and long-term student exchanges, joint talent development, research projects, and facilitate deeper educational exchanges between the two countries.

Alexander Onsovich and Wang Yuquan respectively introduced the basic situation of their universities and the cooperation with Chinese universities, expressing their hopes for practical cooperation with our university in areas such as faculty and student exchanges, cooperative education, and discipline construction.

During the meeting, representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on discipline construction, joint talent development, cooperative education, and academic research cooperation, reaching preliminary cooperation intentions. Officials from the Office of International Cooperation, College of Education, School of Economics, School of Foreign Studies, and College of International Exchange and Education attended the meeting.
