Teachers and Students in HBU Watched the Grand Opening of the Ceremony of the 20th NCCPC

Creating a cohesive new era and forging ahead towards a new journey in unity. At ten o’clock in the morning of October 16th, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which attached worldwide attention, was inaugurated in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and the general secretary Xi Jinping, as the representative of the 19th Central Committee, addressed in the Congress.

Guo Jian, deputy to the 20th National Congress as well as the secretary of CPC in HBU came to the great Hall of the People and listened to our general secretary Xi Jinping’s speech. Given the current demands of epidemic prevention and control, leaders of HBU came to all school districts and went deep into primary organization of the Party to watch the live broadcast of the grand opening ceremony of the Congress. In addition, all primary organizations of the Party in HBU conscientiously convened party members and cadres as well as teachers and students to watch and listen to the live broadcast in different forms such as concentrated viewing and individual self-study.

After listening to and watching the opening ceremony, teachers and students were deeply encouraged and inspired, and they expressed that they would seriously study and implement the spirit of the report of the 20th CPC National Congress, viewing it as a major political task. They will be committed to actions unswervingly, faithfully defend the "Two Affirmations" and resolutely achieve the "Two Upholds". They will also rally more closely around the party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, fully implement the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, carry forward the great party building spirit, be self-confident, self-reliant, upright and innovative and forge ahead in high spirits without hesitation, together struggling for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country and the comprehensive promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
