HBU Held the Welcome Ceremony for the Fifth Batch Volunteers Back from Winter Olympics and the Inauguration Ceremony of the Winter Olympics Volunteer 

On April 6, the fifth batch of 83 Winter Olympics volunteers from HBU ended their service and isolation monitoring and returned to campus smoothly. Party Secretary Guo Jian attended the welcome ceremony for volunteers and the inauguration ceremony of the Winter Olympics volunteer publicity group.

On behalf of the school party committee, Guo Jian extended sincere greetings and congratulations to all Winter Olympic volunteers, and presented the flag to the publicity group. He hoped that publicity group would tell the China’s stories well, guide the teachers and students to continuously strengthen the “four self-confidences”, continuously strengthen the ambition, backbone, and confidence of being a Chinese, and establish a firm ideal of perpetual struggle and dedication for the motherland and the people; to tell the young people’s stories well, to inspire the majority of students to shoulder the heavy responsibilities and historical missions, to walk with the new era and to integrate personal struggle into the great journey of national prosperity and rejuvenation; to tell volunteer stories well, call on more students to join the ranks of volunteer services, start from small things, pass on the positive energy of youth, and write a wonderful chapter of “together for a shared future” in the new era.

With the safe return of the fifth batch volunteers back from Winter Olympics, all the volunteers of HBU have completed their volunteer work and returned to campus safely. In Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, HBU sent a total of 183 volunteers to provide services in 19 fields and 27 jobs, and were reported by CCTV, XINHUANET, Gmw.cn, CHINANEWS.COM, xuexi.cn and other media 70 more times.

At the ceremony, representatives of volunteers and the publicity group made speeches respectively. The responsible comrades of the Party Committee Office, the Party Committee Organization Department, the Party Committee Publicity Department, the Academic Affairs Office, the Party Committee Student Work Department, the Party Committee Graduate Work Department, and the Youth League Committee attended the ceremony.
