President Kang Le visits Cal Poly Pomona

On the afternoon of February 4th, US local time, President Kang Le, visited California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) when participating academic activities in US, accompanied by Professor Zhong Li, head of the North American Alumni Association of HBU, and Associate Professor Hao Jijun from Western University of Health Sciences in US.

Dr. Sadiq Shah, Vice President of Cal Poly Pomona, and Dr. Howard E. Evans, Dean of College of the Extended University, welcomed President Kang Le and his delegation and extended best wishes for the Chinese New Year. Both sides introduced each other's basic situation and expressed their desire to seek cooperation. Team members from Global Education Institute of College of the Extended University detailed related international cooperation programs, including 3+1+1 and 4+1+1 MBA program, Higher Education Management, Professional Training for university professors, Leadership Program for international students, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Financial Management, etc. The two sides also exchanged ideas on inter-school cooperation, teacher training, student training and other fields. President Kang Le also invited Ms. Lisa Xue, Director of the Global Education Institute, to visit Hebei University in March this year, thus working together to promote international cooperation and joint student training programs.     

Dean of Civil Engineering of College of Engineering, academic leaders of Information Security and Accounting of College of Business Administration and main leaders of College of Education and Integrative Studies in Cal Poly Pomona participated the meeting. The HBU delegation also visited the campus, teaching buildings, and student apartments in Cal Poly Pomona.
