The Third Brazil Confucius Institute Football Summer Camp Opened

On June 27th, 27 teachers and students from the Confucius institute football summer camp of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro arrived at our university. On the morning of June 29th, the opening ceremony was held in Room 302 of the main building. On the occasion of this ceremony, the teachers and students of the camp watched the English promotion film of our university. The head of the International Cooperation Office/Confucius Institute, the Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Qiao Jianzhen, representatives of Brazilian teachers and Brazilian students respectively delivered their speech. After the ceremony, the teachers and students took a group photo in front of the main building and then visited the museum of our university.

    The summer camp was organized by the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), the headquarters of Confucius Institutes and hosted by the Confucius Institute at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. This is the third consecutive year of  the Brazil Confucius institute football summer camp, and the seven times that the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro came to our university. From June 28th to July 18th, the Summer Camp  was held at HBU. During the period, the students participated in various cultural activities - experiencing Chinese culture by studying and practising football skills with other teams in Shijiazhuang,  Tianjin and Beijing.
