The First Graduation Ceremony of HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries was Held
On June 25th, the first graduation ceremony of HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries was held in the Handan Concert Hall.
At the ceremony, Kang Le President of Hebei University (HBU) and Liz Blemley, Vice Chancellor of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), conferred the diploma for every graduate on behalf of each university respectively. 96 graduates of the University received a bachelor's degree from HBU, 91 received a bachelor's degree from UCLan, and 19 of them were first-class degree.
54% of the first graduates choose to further their study, 52 of whom have been admitted to be pursue their postgraduate studies at some famous colleges and universities at home and abroad, including University College London (UCL), University of the Arts London (UAL), Lancaster University, University of Glasgow, University of Central Lancashire, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Communication University of China (CUC), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Zhejiang University (ZJU) and etc. Representing HBU, our students have participated in a spate of competitions and innovation and entrepreneurship contests of international and national level in which they have made great achievements.
