International College Hosts 2026 International Education Fair

On May 30, the International College of Hebei University, in partnership with Beijing Liujin Dongfang International Education Technology Co., Ltd., jointly hosted the 2026 International Education Fair series at the Qiyi Road Campus. Attendees included Meng Qingyu, President of Hebei University; Hou Jianguo, Executive Vice President of the Hebei Provincial Education and Culture International Exchange and Cooperation Association; Liu Xiaojun, President of the Hebei International Exchange Association; and Hu Xiaopeng, Director of Dongfang International. They engaged in cordial exchanges with representatives of participating universities and institutions.

More than ten high-level universities and educational institutions participated in the fair, including the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy (British Council), The Australian National University, the University of Dundee (UK), Swinburne University of Technology (Australia), Lincoln University (New Zealand), the University of Debrecen (Hungary), the University of Miskolc (Hungary), and Universiti Putra Malaysia (Malaysia). These institutions provided one-on-one consultation and guidance to students, covering the entire study-abroad process—from planning and university applications to program selection, scholarship policies, and overseas employment. Eight dedicated information sessions were also held, offering detailed insights into program strengths, application requirements, and academic and living conditions abroad. The event attracted over 1,000 students who engaged in face-to-face discussions with university representatives, gaining accurate and timely information for their further studies. The atmosphere was lively yet orderly.

This International Education Fair marks the third such event hosted by the International College of Hebei University. It represents a key initiative by the College to implement Hebei University’s “comprehensive international education philosophy,” deepen international exchanges and cooperation, proactively integrate into the broader regional opening-up landscape, and precisely align with high-quality international resources. Looking ahead, the International College will continue to adopt a broader vision, more systematic thinking, and more coordinated approaches to integrate educational opening-up into the entire process of university governance and talent cultivation. It will further build high-quality international exchange platforms, deepen partnerships with overseas institutions, and expand diverse programs such as student exchanges, overseas study tours, and joint training initiatives. These efforts aim to continuously enhance the university’s international education standards and talent cultivation quality, providing even stronger support for Hebei University students in their pursuit of admission to world-renowned universities and their path toward international development.

Leaders from the International Cooperation Office and the International College accompanied the event.
