2026 Hebei Graduate Employment Market – HBU 2026 Spring Job Fair was Held

On April 22, the 2026 Hebei Province Graduate Employment Market – Hebei University Special Session and Hebei University 2026 Spring Job Fair were held at the Wusi Road Campus. President Meng Qingyu, Standing Committee Member of the CPC Committee and Vice President Song Fengxuan, along with officials from relevant departments of the Hebei Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, visited the venue for investigation and guidance.

The university leadership successively visited the booths of companies such as Lucky Film Co., Ltd., North China Aluminum New Material Technology Company, and Dayuan Construction Group Co., Ltd., gaining detailed insights into talent demand trends and job position setups across various industries. They earnestly listened to feedback and suggestions from employers regarding the university’s talent cultivation, major development, and career guidance.

The university leadership pointed out that, as the main front for talent cultivation, the university should leverage its disciplinary strengths as the foundation, continuously deepen industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation, and precisely align with market demands. It should actively integrate into the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the construction of the Xiong’an New Area, proactively connect with local and regional talent needs, continuously broaden graduate employment channels, and supply high-quality talent for economic and social development. Simultaneously, it must persistently strengthen digital empowerment for employment services, making them more precise, warm, and effective.

This job fair, hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Hebei Provincial Department of Education, and organized by Hebei University, attracted 284 participating employers offering over 6,100 job positions. More than 7,000 students attended on-site, submitting a cumulative total of over 7,500 resumes. Human resources and social security bureaus from 15 cities, including Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, and Baoding, were present to interpret local talent attraction policies. Various schools and colleges proactively set up booths to engage with enterprise needs and recommend specialized talents. To enhance service effectiveness, the event simultaneously launched integrated online-offline recruitment models such as “Ji Employment · Hundred Enterprises Live Streaming Job Offers” and “Mobile Broadcasting Job Promotion,” cumulatively attracting over 450,000 online participants. A dedicated “Smart Employment · Digital Service Zone” was set up on-site, providing graduates with one-stop smart employment services ranging from policy inquiries and job matching to resume submission, empowering precise job seeking through digital means.

Concurrently, the Hebei University 2026 Symposium on University-Local Collaborative Employment Education and Local Service was held in Lecture Hall 302 of the Main Building. Responsible officials from employment departments of eight cities in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, along with university leaders including Song Fengxuan and heads of relevant functional departments and various schools/colleges, participated. Attendees conducted in-depth discussions on promoting employment for Hebei University graduates, focusing on topics such as sharing university-local resources, collaborative university-enterprise education, precise graduate placement, and serving local economic development.
