Professor Lyu Yi won the National Outstanding Contribution Award for Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Education

On October 11, the 10th General Assembly of the National Chinese-foreign Joint Education Committee (CJEC) was held Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Jia Peng, Deputy Director of the International Department of the Ministry of Education, Ye Linlin, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Academician Ding Kuiling, President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, together with more than 30 leaders of universities across China attended the conference, and more than 400 principals from Chinese-foreign cooperation in education across China attended the assembly.

After the preliminary review, through the
committee recommendation, material announcement, expert election and other links, the conference commended the personnel who made outstanding achievements in the Chinese-foreign cooperation in education across China. Professor Lyu Yi of Hebei University won the “Outstanding Contribution Award for Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Education”.

As the founding dean of the Hebei HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries
, the first Chinese-foreign cooperative education institution in Hebei, Professor Lyu Yi led the Chinese-British education teams of the entire school to forge ahead courageously and break new ground, and achieved outstanding results in Chinese-foreign cooperation in education. In 2023, the college was awarded the title of “Model Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education Institution”, the only in the province, by the Hebei Provincial Department of Education. In 2024, the college was selected into the “Top 20 Excellent Cases of Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education Institutions in China”.

On this conference, the long-term silently dedicated liaisons of Chinese-foreign cooperative education institutions were also commended. Zhao Hanxi, director of the office of Hebei University-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries, was awarded the title of “Pioneer of Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education”.
