The Ambassador Inusa Mustafa from the Republic of Niger to China visited HBU


On April 12th, Inusa Mustafa, the Niger ambassador to China, and Haladou Aboudou, counselor of education and culture, were invited to visit Hebei University. A meeting between the two parties took place in the conference room of B2 in the new campus.

      Shen Shigang, vice president of HBU, extended his warm welcome on behalf of the school to ambassador Mustafa and his delegation, and introduced HBU’s current situation and good opportunities for its development. Then the vice president reviewed the favorable interactions between Hebei University and Niger embassy in China and expressed his expectations for the prospects of the cooperation of both sides. Ambassador Mustafa said he was very honored to visit HBU co-constructed by Hebei Province and the Ministry of Education, and expressed his sincere thanks to HBU for training talents for the Republic of Niger. The ambassador looked back on his experience of learning Chinese in Beijing Language and Culture University 30 years ago, and conveyed his love and gratitude to China. After that, the two parties friendly negotiated about the educational exchange and cooperation between Niger’s colleges and Hebei University, making agreements on recommending Niger students to study in China, introducing Chinese martial arts culture to Niger and conducting cooperative research on relevant subjects.

 The related staff of International Cooperation Office, College of International Exchange and Education and HBU Martial Arts Association took part in the meeting. Then Niger visitors toured the Traveling Exhibition of Dunhuang Mural Art Treasure at HBU.
