Xiaoqiang Qiao

Prof. Dr. Xiaoqiang Qiao, was born on Oct. 18, 1982, obtained his Bachelor Degree of Science from Department of Chemistry, Hebei University, in 2005. He pursued his Ph.D. study in National Chromatographic R. & A. Center, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) under the direction of Prof. Yukui Zhang, Member of CAS. In 2011, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from DICP, CAS. In March 2011, he joined in Hebei University, as an associate professor. From 2017 to 2018, he carried out the postdoctoral research in Prof. Morteza Khaledi's group in University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and Prof. Liangliang Sun's group in Michigan State University (MSU). In 2017, he was promoted to be a full professor in Hebei University.

Prof. Dr. Xiaoqiang Qiao was selected as "Young Talent in Hebei Province (2012), "100 Outstanding Innovative Talents in Colleges and Universities in Hebei Province" (2019), and "Hebei Province Outstanding Youth Science Fund" (2016). He won the Science and Technology Progress Award in Hebei Province (rank second, 2016). Prof. Dr. Xiaoqiang Qiao’s research is focused on the development of new materials for HPLC separation and new enrichment methods for biomolecules. He has hosted or participated in 5 scientific projects organized by National Natural Science Foundation, Ministry of Science and Technology. Up till now, hhe has published over 40 papers in journals indexed by SCI.
